Welcome to the 52 week photography challenge. This week no 8 we are going more into the opposite side of light in your images. In previous assignment you looked into the lighting of your objects in darker environments; this week you will be looking out for the shadows.
When photographing objects and subjects, you can really bring depth with intense shadows and even distort your final image with creative shadow placement.
Now that the sun is starting to give more harsh shadows, you will be able to start building images based on not the subject you see, but the shadows they give.
Notice, that different materials and textures give different shadows.
It is up to you whether you decide to photograph people, environments or objects for this assignment. Where ever you see an interesting shadow, create your image around that.
When photographing harsh contrasts between the lighter and darker spectrums of your image, be aware that you won’t overexpose your image.

You can add elements from the previous assignments, to better create a stronger image.
